Wow, these are so far the best overall iron supplements I have used, and I’ve tried MANY different brands/types, etc.Increasing your iron to get your levels above anemic levels takes time, and I’ve learned that the most important thing is finding a type/brand that allows your body to absorb. These may only be 25 mg, compared to some 67 mg, and 100+ mg brands that I used, however, of all the brands I tried, these have positively affected my anemia for the positive the best. In addition, they include other vitamins I need, C and D. Since starting to take these about a month ago, I started feeling more energy after about 2 weeks. It still appears to be getting better, but I expect it to be slow. Very easy to swallow (tasteless capsules) and no aftertaste. One type is used to take made me throw up once in a while, and I know it was the pills, because I could taste it.I’ll post again in a few months and hopefully these will do the job and get me back up in the teens again and energized. I was looking for a new iron supplement do to the old brand I used no longer making products. This the second brand I have tried glad I did. There is no strong odor and the pills are easy to take. Good value for the money.

I have been using Zahler brand Iron Complex with vitamins since 2017. I began taking these when I was no longer permitted to donate blood because my iron levels dipped below their minimums. I was looking for a lower dose to minimize side-effects (if you know what I mean).I can attest that not only do these supplements increase your blood's iron levels, they do it without upsetting your stomach and without constipation.In 8 years, I have never questioned to quality of this product.

I have been taking this iron supplement for years after it was recommended by my doctor. I had suffered from iron deficiency anemia for years. even requiring iron transfusions at the hospital until I began using this product. This iron is kinder on my insides than previous ones I've had. And it solved my anemia.

I bought this when my husband who had to have an iron infusion to increase his iron at one point had his iron count began to drop again. It worked really well for increasing his iron count and I've continued to buy it for several years. His current blood specialist doesn't recognize this brand and has switched him to a different one. If I don't see the same improvement I will be switching him back to this one. I've used this product myself after a surgery when I had low iron counts a and it got me back to a normal level better than the product the Dr had suggested. I really like Zahlers, it had no bad after taste, and did not have the constipation issues common with iron supplements. I feel it is a good product, the current specialist said she will check out it as she'd never heard of it.

As a 30+ year vegetarian woman I highly recommend Zahler’s Iron Complex. I have been taking this supplement for years and attribute my normal labs to taking it daily. Waaaaaay back I treated anemia with Nifrex and this product is far superior! I have no stomach issue and zero constipation while taking this supplement. It also smells like absolutely nothing which iron often struggles with. As somebody is struggling with a ferriten deficiency, having trouble absorbing iron, these have been amazing. The mix of vitamin C with iron has really helped me absorb it, and I have not had any unpleasant side effects. I love this brand and will keep buying!!!
